Alexander David Adams
David passed away suddenly at his home in Prince Albert on July 22, 2009. He will be greatly missed by his loving daughters Haley Adams ( Jeff Gervin) Alexandra, Conan, Aidan, Gillian & Rohan. Susan (Chris)Walker David, Amanda & Colin. David was a special brother, Uncle & friend to Elinor Pearson (Cliff), Bette Clive (Jim Walker), Jeannie Huber(Chuck), Jill Adams and their families. In addition he leaves to mourn the mother of his children and lifelong friend, Jacquie Skage and many loyal friends who have touched his life. He was born on Febuary 17, 1942 in Ontario and was raised on a farm in Arcola, Saskatchewan where he started his career in politics running for the NDP party. He obtained his B.A & B.Ed at the U of S. then went on to teach all across Canada as well as Libya, finally making his home in Prince Albert & area. He spent many years in education working closely with the Northern School Division and First Nations. Some will remember David from his hockey days playing goal for Arcola-Kisbey , his career in sled dog driving & his passion for golf. The unconditional love and support that Dave always expressed will live on through his children and grandchildren. A service for David will be held on Wednesday July 29 in Prince Albert at Kachurs Country Club at 2 pm.
