Moase
The death occurred at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, Charlottetown on Friday, April 1, 2011 of Lois (Cairns) Moase formerly of Summerside and more recently of Andrews of Charlottetown in her 99th year. Lois was born April 5, 1912, the eldest child of the late Elton and Lottie (Burns) Cairns of Freetown. She leaves to mourn her son, Lorne, and daughter-in-law, Shirley Moase, Stratford and grandchildren Tanya Hogg, Rodney Dekker (fiancée Sharon Murphy) and Philip Moase all of Summerside, Chris (Michelle) Moase of Waterdown, Ont., David Moase and Susan Dekker (fiancé Paul Inkpen) of Toronto and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Sheila (Don) Reeves and son-in-law John (Vera) Dekker, both of Summerside. Besides her parents, Lois was predeceased by her son, Norman, her daughter, Beulah Dekker, her sister Marion in childhood and her brother Howard and sister-in-law Doris Cairns. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Tuesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment later in Freetown People’s Cemetery.
