Passed away after a brief illness on April 1, 2011 Herbert Guy Barnes, age 70. Predeceased by his Father Herbert, and Mother Francis, first wife Elizabeth, daughter Tracy, sisters Heather and Dawn and brother Adam. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life are his loving family, wife Victoria, sons Adam (Jennifer), Francis and grandson Matthew, sisters Ita and Orion (Len) Baker, in-laws Fred and Shirley Saunders, Steve (Melinda), Chris (Denise) also many nieces, nephews and their families, as well as a number of relatives, friends and his co-workers at Royal Lepage Professionals. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 10 am to 12 noon. Funeral service to be held at Gower Street United Church on Wednesday April 6, 2011 at 2 pm with interment to follow at General Protestant Cemetery, Waterford Bridge Road.
