Glinz, Susan Leah (Johnson), RN - 55, Forest Glen passed away suddenly on Friday, April 1, 2011 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born May 25, 1955 in Sydney, she was a daughter of Charles Johnson and the late Irene (MacQuarrie) Johnson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter who brought comfort and peace to others and did things with integrity and love. She enjoyed camping, paddling, playing volleyball, rug hooking and traveling with family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Ernest; daughters, Sarah (Robert) Short, Grand Manan, Elizabeth Glinz, Antigonish; son, Scott (Shanda Cox) Brentwood; grandchildren, Rowan and Rhys Short; sister, Leslie (Bob) Thomas; brothers, David Johnson, Philip (Chris Lavers) Johnson, Mark (Brenda) Johnson, Michael (Heather) Johnson, Andrew (Patricia Budicky) Johnson and a very large extended family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6 from 6-8 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with a memorial service on Thursday, April 7 at 2 pm in First United Church, 711 Prince Street, Truro officiated by Rev. Larry Harrison and Rev. Roger Moore. Reception to follow the service. Interment at a later date in Forest Glen Cemetery. Family flowers only.
