Mr. Thomas Snowden formerly of Picadilly passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on April 4, 2011 at the age of 86. Born in Liverpool England on December 18, 1924, he was the husband of the late Freda (Campbell) Snowden who passed away in 1999. Tom is survived by two sons: Robert Snowden and his wife Joan of Victoria, BC, Rick Snowden and his wife Shabnam of Toronto; his daughter Lynn Snowden of Toronto, his step-daughter Sharon Loder and her husband Dan of Sussex Corner, two step-sons: Raleigh Myers and his wife Betty of Mt. Hebron and Peter Myers and Wendy of Sussex; his brother Bill Snowden and his wife Muriel of Formby, Lancashire; nine grandchildren: Scott and Graham Snowden, Scott and Jeff Landry, Shelley Vail, Stacey Adair, Shannon Myers, David Myers and Christiana Myers and Abbey Myers, six great grandchildren: Lauren, Amy and Ashley Vail, Colten and Paige Adair, Jackson Myers; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). In honor of Tom’s request no visitation will be held. A Celebration of Tom’s life will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
