Peacefully at the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge on Monday, July 27, 2009, of Verna Katherine Gray, age 83. Beloved wife of the late Gerald B. \"Jolly\" Gray; loving mother of Jerry (Sherry) of Murray Harbour. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Lena Stewart. She is survived by her sisters, Sylvia Machon, Velma Sears; brother, Lawrence Stewart and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Austin and Alvin; sisters, Eileen and Rena. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Dartmouth, N.S. No visitation by personal request. Graveside service Friday, July 31, at Mt. Herman Cemetery, Dartmouth, N.S.
