February 21st, 1933 - April 3rd, 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Mary Ethel Carter announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Sunday April 3rd, 2011, in her 78th year, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Maxine (Ches), grandchildren: Joanne, Kevin (Katrina), Patty (Gary); great-grandchildren: Natasha (Shawn), Kelsey, Caittin, Brett and Gavin; great- great-granddaughter Shawna; her brothers: Waldo (Bernice), Otto (Agnes), Clayton (Gida) and Leonard, her sisters: Betty and Judy (Woodrow), sister-in-law Melvia. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Raymond; parents, Roland and Lucy Janes; great-granddaughter Sarah and her brother Eric. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL from the hours of 7-9 p.m. on Monday, April 4th, 2011 and continuing on Tuesday, April 5th, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 6th, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Deer Lake with Pastor Peter Grimes officiating, burial to follow at the church cemetery, Wight’s Road, Deer Lake, NL.
