Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, April 3, 2011, surrounded by her loving family, Mary Margaret Hickey, age 85 years. Predeceased by her husband Ronald, daughters: Shirley Sonley and Carolynn Ryan, son Kenneth, grandson Kenny Hanlon, parents Mary and Michael Barron, brothers and sisters: James, John, Willie, Stephen, Michael, Maggie, Liz and Sadie. Left with fond and loving memories her children: Cynthia (Vic), Marie (David), Virginia (Walter), Barb (Mike), Yvonne (Bob), Liz (Noel), Jim (Vena), Ron (Pat), Kevin, Gail (Clem), Trudy (Mike), Connie (Tom) and Conrad; thirty-five grandchildren; forty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; sisters-in-law: Cecilia Emberley and Olive Barron; brother-in-law Willie Hickey; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday, April 7th at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road. Interment to follow at the Field of Honor, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted.
