Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Home in Carbonear on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, Michael Moriarity of Marysvale, aged 82 years. Predeceased by his wife Frances, parents Thomas and Anastasia Moriarity, brothers: Thomas, Cyril and James, sisters: Alice (Wall), Ann (Lundrigan), Dorothy (Walsh) and Joan (Abbott). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Michael (Brenda), Vince (Hilda), Kieran (Rochelle), Theresa, Geraldine (Kenneth), Cyril (Yvonne), Johnny (Tina), Todd (Lorna) and Shawn (Colleen); grandchildren: Michael (Leann), Colin (Nancy), Frances (Matt), Brandon, Megan (Nick), Kendelle, Kayla, Christopher, Maggie and Caitlin (Cyril), great-grandchildren: Lily and McKinlee; sisters: Theresa Power, Nora McHugh and Margaret Whelan; brother Patrick; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Thursday from 9-10 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady of The Snows Church, Marysvale with interment to follow in the R.C.
