Passed away at Lions Manor Nursing Home in Placentia on April 5, 2011, in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband, Frank, in 1975; parents, Michael and Agnes Conway; two children, four sisters, three brothers, one grandson, Joey Kane. Left to mourn: son, Michael Walsh (Sue); daughters, Rose Gale (Jimmy), Southeast, Placentia; Agnes Doupe (Ed), Clarenville; Betty Spurvey, St. John's; Kathleen Chalmers, Texas; special nephew Ian Walsh & family, and sister-in-law, Bernice Conway; fourteen grandchildren,three step-grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, a large circle of nieces and nephews, as well as, all of her friends at Lions Manor. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in her memory to the Royal Canadian Legion #33 Placentia or the Sacred Heart Parish, Placentia. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, April 8, at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Parish, Placentia.
