The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, of Marge McCarron (nee Lusk), wife of Francis McCarron, of North Rustico and formerly of Oyster Bed Bridge, age 70.
Marge was the mother of Cindy Nobiss (James Eng), Alberta, and Melody Garnhum (Kevin), Ontario; stepmother of Wayne McCarron (Bev), Oyster Bed Bridge, and Sandra MacKinnon (Chuck), Nancy Hulbert (Richard) and Debbie Stuart (Frank), all of Halifax, N.S.; grandmother of Jeff and Lauren; Tristan, Amber, Cody and Dakota; and great-grandmother of Tillia and Maddix. She is also survived by her brother Jimmy Lusk and several step-grandchildren.
Marge was predeceased by her parents, George and Jean (Nesbitt) Lusk; an infant son, Derek Nobiss; brother, David; and granddaughter, Katie.
Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene’s Roman Catholic Church, Covehead, on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at 3 p.m. Interment later in the Charlottetown Catholic Cemetery.
