It is with sadness that we regret to announce the untimely passing of a wonderful mother, sister and grandmother, Marion Dawson.
Marion passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Ont. after a brief illness, with daughters Nancy and Jeanna at her side.
Marion leaves behind her daughters Nancy (Jeff), and Jeanna, as well as her four grandchildren, Kayndra, Noah, Brady and Evan, who were the joy of her life. Marion also leaves behind her devoted sisters Ashlea (Andy), Margaret (Ron), and four brothers, Jim (Carolyn), Donald (Barb), Rick (Elizabeth), and Kenzie (Cindy).
Marion was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Jean Dawson, and her special granddaughter Mariah in January 2011.
A funeral service to celebrate Marion’s life was held at Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener, Ont.
Donations to the Cancer Society or the Lutherwood Foundation, 285 Benjamin Road, Waterloo, Ont. N2J 3Z4, Attn: Marilyn Jacobi, may be made as expressions of sympathy.
