HEINRICHS - Mary Heinrichs, age 92, formerly Thiessen and Friesen, passed away peacefully at the Maple Creek Cypress Lodge on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. She was born on March 7, 1919, to Peter & Agenetha Dueck at Gouldtown, SK. Mary was predeceased by her father, Peter; her mother, Agenetha; her brothers, Pete, Henry and Dave; her husbands, Frank, John and Jake; and by her son-in-law, Frank McCorkell. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children, Abe (Agnes) of Grindrod, BC, Henry (Lydia) of Medicine Hat, AB, Reuben (Joanne) of White Rock, BC, Alviena of Powell River, BC, Elma (Fred) of Saanichton, BC, Bob (Florence) of Medicine Hat, AB; her seven grandchildren; her eight great-grandchildren; and by one sister, Helena Wiebe. The Funeral Service was held on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 1:00 pm from the Church of God, Herbert, SK with Pastor Lorne Cornelson officiating. The pianist for the service was Diane Peters with the congregation singing, “Amazing Grace”. The eulogy was shared by granddaughter, Treasa Thiessen. Special music was brought by the Braun Trio singing, “O Come, Angel Band” and “At Sundown”. The Interment Service was held at the Gouldtown Cemetery, Gouldtown, SK with the following grandsons serving as pallbearers, Frank McCorkell, Leroy Thiessen, James Thiessen, Dorian Thiessen, Anthony Thiessen and Braden Thiessen. In memory of Mary Heinrichs, donations made to the Gideons International would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements were in care of Swift Current Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK.
