At the P.E.I. Atlantic Baptist Home on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, of Doris Bevan (Smith), Stratford, age 71 years.
Beloved wife of Keir Bevan for 54 years. Mother of Donna Vessey (Ricky), Allan Bevan, Tammy Bevan (Jeff Hogg) and Melloney Bevan. Lovingly remembered by her 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Sister of Viola Atkinson and Belle Minaker. Survived by Jane Bevan. Predeceased by her children Arnold, Bobby, Doreen, in infancy; by her parents, James and Anne (MacLeod) Smith; and by her brothers, Sydney, John and Sandy Smith.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
