Rena Veronica Anderson passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1938 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Louis and Laura (McDermott) King. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Edward Petts; great grandson Zackery Michael Mason; brother George; sisters Gladys Parks, Rhoda Bouchard and Carolyn King. She is survived by her son Brian King; daughters Christa Petts (Art Cramm), Lorna Reinhart (Mike Mullin) and Tammy (Petts) Mason (Mike McDonald); brothers Walter King, Murray King (Marion), Wayne King (Wendy), Robert King (Janet), Gary King (Linda) and Louie King (Marg); sisters Diane King (Donnie Miller and Brenda Price (Allan); nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
