
Donald Tardif
Don R. Tardif of Southampton, NB passed away April 5, 2011 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in 1952 at Edmundston, NB, he was a son of the late John and Lucienne (LaChance) Tardif. Don was a carpenter by trade and was known in his community as someone to go to when they needed something fixed. Don will be sadly missed by his three little canine friends, Cinnamon, Cookie and Kiwi. Don is survived by his wife, Rhonda L. (Cronkhite) Tardif; a step-son, George Woodworth; grandsons, Jesse and Daniel Woodworth; three brothers, John Tardif (Angie), Michael Tardif (Sandy) and his twin brother Ron Tardif; three sisters, Paula Sorensen (David), Rene Drake (Jim) and Patrice Tardif; his father-in-law, Deverne Cronkhite; several sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Edith Cronkhite.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Celebration of Don’s life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Raymond Herbert officiating, assisted by Rev. Ivan Carr. Interment will be at a later date at Lenentine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ron Tardif, Floyd Cronkhite, Don Brooks, Jesse Woodworth, Daniel Woodworth and Andrew Paisley.
