Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on Monday, April 4, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer, Kevin Joseph Galway, age 77 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth Galway and his brother John Jr. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Rowena; his children: Kevin, Patricia (Mike), Deborah (Tony) and Linda (Tom); his grandchildren: Ryan, Leslie, Lisa, Laura, Paul and Tara-Lynn; his brothers: Cyril, Ed (Barb) and Jerry (Doreen); sisters: Betty (Glen), Angela (Ed), Barb (Wade), Sheila (Cyril), Mary (John) and best friend Jessie Adams. A special thank you to staff at neurology 5 south B Health Science Centre; as well staff at Chancellor Park for their care and compassion. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Friday 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place from the Basilica, Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic or to a charity of one’s choice.
