Passed away at her residence in Musgrave Harbour on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, Mrs. Louise Sturge in her 79th year. Pre-deceased by her parents Lillian and Walter Tulk, step-father William Hoddinott, husbands Glynn Guy, Lester Sturge, and Harry Hicks, son-in-law Kevin Abbott. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son Hedley Guy (Gloria), four daughters Bernice Smithline (John), Deloris Hayward (Fred), Catherine Blackwood (Garry) and Doris Hallett (Jack) all of Musgrave Harbour, step-son David Hicks (Dianne) of St. John’s, two step-daughters Hazel Tulk (Melvin) of Aspen Cove and Sylvia Hicks of St. John’s the family of the late Lester Sturge, two sisters Maryann Mullett of Carmanville and Sarah Rioux of Corner Brook, 12 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren and also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place on Friday, April 8th from the Salvation Army Citadel in Musgrave Harbour with Majors Barry and Donna Anstey officiating. Interment to follow the Salvation Army Cemetery in Musgrave Harbour. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home in Musgrave Harbour-Wesleyville.
