1922 - 2011 Passed peacefully away at his home in Chapel’s Cove on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Mary (2000); his son: Walter (1996); infant sons: William & Patrick, sons-in-law: William R. Smallwood & Bernard Costello. Left with fond and loving memories are his children: Patricia Duggan (Cyril), Anita Redmond (Jerome), Madeline Costello, Marcella Smallwood, Frank (Mary), Rose Harris (Charlie), Jeanie Myers (Junior), Mary Conway (Austin), Betty Noftall (Doug), Anne Noftall (Lloyd), Isabelle Wade (Doug), Willie (Ann Marie), Rick (Rowena), Sue Ryan (Eugene); daughter-in-law Mary Walsh; 35 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Thursday & Friday from 12 pm - 9 pm Funeral will take place on Saturday April 9, 2011 at 3:00 pm with Mass of Christian Burial from Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Harbour Main. Interment will be in Sts Peter & Paul Cemetery, Chapel’s Cove. No flowers by request, Donations in his memory may be made to Sts. Peter & Paul Parish.
