After a courageous battle with cancer, the family of the late Lorraine Anderson sadly announce her peaceful passing on Thursday, April 7th, at the Calder Health Care Centre, Burgeo, in her 67th year. She was predeceased by her son Derrick, husband Bill, parents James H. & Edith Parsons, brother Bill Parsons and brother-in-law Frank Young. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sisters: Louise Young, Mt. Moriah, Joyce (Bud) Greene, Burgeo, brother Calvin (Mona) Parsons, Burgeo, sister-in-law Cornelia Parsons, Burgeo; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, special girl Sami Fudge, Bay Roberts, other relatives and friends. The visitation will begin on Friday from 7:00 p.m. and continue on Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Burgeo, from where the funeral service will also be held on Sunday, April 10th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Mary Rose Colbourne officiating with interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
