Jackson, Albert Eugene – 72, Truro passed away April 8, 2011 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born June 1, 1938 in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Reginald and Grace (Fletcher) Jackson. Albert served in the Armed Forces for 3 years. He was then employed by the Town of Truro in Police Services for many years. He was a member of the Zion United Baptist Church where he was baptized. He was predeceased by brother, Reginald Jackson of Winnipeg. He is survived by brother, Robert Jackson, Winnipeg; children, Susan Jackson Barclay (Ken), Brampton, Ont., Sheila Jackson Graham (Reg), Boston, Albert Jackson Jr.(Sharon), Truro, Nevin Jackson (Lisa), Truro, Corey Jackson, Toronto; grandchildren, Stephanie, Alex, Patrick, Spenser, Blake, Troy and Brandon; former wife, Sheila Maxwell Jackson; several nieces and nephews. No visitation by request. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
