SWEENEY, Glen Francis- Passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 7, 2011, Glen Francis Sweeney, age 61 years. Predeceased by parents, John and Catherine (Lake); brothers: John, David and Patrick. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Sharon and Joanne (Jim); granddaughters: Sondra and Catherine; grandsons: Joshua and Matthew; sisters: Anne Hancock (Allan), Marie Pretty, Joshlyn Sweeney (Wayne), Jeanette Quigley (Bren); brothers: Jimmy (Anna), Albert (Sheila), Douglas (Carol); as well as many nieces and nephews and long time buddies at Oceanex. At Glen’s request cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; Funeral service to take place on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
