The death of Arcade J. Hachey of 166 Prince William St. occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 9, 2011. Mr. Hachey was born in Saint John on February 5, 1945, a son of Lauza (Brideau) Hachey of Saint John, and the late Donat Hachey. He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator with Brookville Lime and had also worked in Ontario. Besides his mother, he is survived by two sons, Billy of Saint John, and Tony of Toronto; one daughter, Amanda of Saint John; three brothers, Peter and Mark, both of Saint John, and Paul of Dawson Creek, B.C.; two sisters, Alamondine Wheaton of Saint John, and Barbara Shepherd of Baxter's Corner.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday afternoon at 12:05. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
