CAINES, Ellen (nee Richards) – Passed peacefully away at Escasoni on October 30, 2008, Ellen Caines, aged 93 years. Predeceased by husband Eric (1998) and daughter Barbara (1951). Leaving to mourn son David, Norris Point; daughters: Elizabeth Chiaramonte (Louis), Portugal Cove, Eleanor Lynch (Ron), Bay Roberts, Judith Smith (Derek), Bareneed and Ethel Walsh (Mike), St. John’s; beloved grandchildren: David Caines Jr.; Luigi, Anna and Marco Chiaramonte; Vikki and David Lynch; Krista and Jonathan Walsh; brother-in-law Robert Caines of Norris Point and other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of 3 West at Escasoni for their kind and compassionate care. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday, October 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
