KIRBY, Reginald– Departed from this life after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, June 29, 2009, in his 42nd year. Predeceased by his loving mother and father: Catherine and Rupert; also brother, Donald. He is now reunited with them in heaven. Inspired by his example and honored to say this is our brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Dearly missing him are sisters: Edna McDonald (Herb), Mississauga, Eleanor Plsek, (Chick), Burlington, Dorothy Kirby, Toronto, Diane Kirby, Mississauga, Ann Marie Stefanishen (Larry), Edmonton, Kathy Kirby, Holyrood, Jackie Duff (Steve), Edmonton; brothers: Rupert Jr. (Linda), Red Deer, Leo (Loretta), Mississauga, Paul (Judy), Holyrood; aunts: Imelda White, Oakville, Ann Dunphy, Holyrood, Evelyn Rose, Holyrood. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews and cousins. Dearly missed by many friends he made throughout the years. Also missing him are friends and colleagues from the Royal Bank of Canada. Reg’s remains will be leaving Dunphy’s Funeral Home and laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery on August 1, 2009, at 4 p.m. and celebration of his life to follow at the residence of his brother Paul and sister-in-law Judy Kirby. Family and friends are invited to attend.
