It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Ada Eddy announces her passing on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the age of 81 years at Northern Lights Health Centre, Fort McMurray, AB. Evelyn leaves to join her loving husband Alec Raymond Eddy. Left with fond and loving memories her daughters Christine Barrett (Garry), Edmonton, AB, Sharon Andrews (Mark), Cochrane, AB, Paula Norman, Fort McMurray, AB and Tammy Hansen, Fort Saskatchewan, AB; grandchildren Charlene Barrett (Randy), Amelia Andrews, Kyle Andrews, Cody Hansen, Branden Hansen and Chloe Norman; great-grandson Seth Christie; brothers-in-law Walter Eddy (Ivy), John Eddy (Olive) and Lester Eddy (Betty); special niece Myrtle Barrett; special cousins Rex Peach and Dougie Peach; many nieces and nephews; and a large circle of family and friends, whom she loved very much. Evelyn is predeceased by her mother Amelia and father George Peach; brothers Josiah, George and Walter. Visitation to be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Bethany United Church, Swift Current from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Bethany United Church, Swift Current with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Swift Current.
