It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Kimberly Ann (Kim) Edwards-LeBlanc, 51, inform you of her peaceful passing at home, on Monday, May 29, 2017. She fought a long, brave battle with cancer.
Born in Sydney Mines on May 3, 1966, she was the daughter of Alex and Lesina (MacIntyre) Edwards.
Kim was a beautiful soul. She was funny, caring, feisty and loved life. She enjoyed fishing, camping, Bingo, darts, cards and motorcycle rides with her husband. She truly had a heart of gold. She had a strong love and dedication for her family and friends.
Kim is survived and will be deeply missed by her devoted parents, Alex and Lesina, and her husband, Murray LeBlanc, who was her rock, and she loved dearly. She is also survived by her son, Christopher Jessome. He was the light of her life, and she loved him more than life itself. Myles, her cat, was also precious to her. Kim also leaves behind her five brothers and sisters, Sherry (Ronnie), Wayne, Juanita, Romane, Chris (Amanda) and Paula, who she loved like a sister. She had many nieces and nephews, who she cherished.
She was predeceased by her mother-in-law Margaret LeBlanc.
Cremation has taken place. Her family will receive visitors in J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, from 3-4 p.m.
A celebration of her life will be held at 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
