It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivy Sedella Park announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in her 89th year. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander T. Park in 1981, twin sons Benny and Billy, 1947, son Derrick, 2014, her parents Jacob Noseworthy, 1938 and Fanny Noseworthy Park, 1998 and her mother-in-law Selina May Robinson, 2005. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Shawn; his only daughter Alicia Park (Ryan); her daughter-in-law Shirley Park; granddaughter Cathy Payne (Tom); grandson Dean Park (Kathy); great-grandson Adam; great-granddaughters Kayla and Danica; one great-great-granddaughter Briar Rose; sisters Molly Brake (Bill), Loretta Park, Maisie Buckley (Chris) and Pat Burton in Ontario; brothers Alex Noseworthy and Joe Park (Greta); sisters-in-law Vera Brown and Leona (Les) Crewe; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday 10-12 Noon. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2 at 2 p.m. from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Curling Street with Rev. David Taylor officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Mary's Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
