We regret to announce the peaceful passing of Alice Nita Daphne Over, age 82, from Southern Bay, at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on April 9, 2011. Predeceased by parents, Gilbert & Gladys Yetman; husband, Alexander; sisters, Lorraine Quinton (Harold), Frances Quinton (James), and Genevieve Yetman. Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories are her loving children, Irving (Edna), Wayne (Lynn), Dorothy Keough (David) and Sharon Maloney (Terry); grandchildren, Alliah Over (Sean), Nicholas Over (Catherine), Alexandra Keough (Kelly), Cara Maloney, Abagail Maloney and Anna Maloney; sister, Dorothy Quinton (Adrian); brothers, Kenneth Yetman (Ettie) and Robert Yetman (Dorothy) and many other relatives and friends. Rested at the Eventide Memorial Chapel, Charleston, from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Lodge took place on Wednesday, 3 pm with interment following at the United Church Cemetery, Southern Bay. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island.
