Passed away suddenly on April 9, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of his loving family in his 61th year; son of the late William and Bernadette English. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife and best friend, Janice (Earles); his adoring children: Julia (Joshua Dauphinee) and Liam (Kelly Miller); sisters: Mary Slade and her children: Krista and Mark and Maureen Treat (Ray) and their children: Jennifer and Rob. Also leaving to mourn are sisters-in-law: Catherine McGrath (Frank), Rosalie Earles, Pamela Brown (late Reginald), Carolyn Churchilll (Doug); brothers-in-law: Don Earles (Laurie), Joe Earles (Val) and Tom Earles (Susan); also a large circle of relatives and friends especially his many hockey and fishing buddies. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Monday, April 11 from 1-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday April 12 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Topsail Road at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 12.
