Passed Peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, June 10, 2017, Gerald John Comerford, age 84 years. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Marion Comerford; brothers and sisters Bill, Fred, Ronnie, Joan, Linda and Barbara Ann; daughter-in-law Denise Roche-Comerford. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 59 years Ethel (nee Whelan); children Gerry, John (Karen) and Elaine (Robert Brown); grandchildren Chelsea, Adam and Andrew; great-grandchildren Keagan and Connor; sisters Judy (Bill) and Carol Ann; brothers-in-law Joe Whelan and Irving Butt; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to the Knights of Columbus, St. Clare Avenue.
