The death occurred at the Garden Nursing Home on Friday, July 31, 2009, of Mrs. Elsie M. Molyneaux (nee Villard), formerly of Douglas Street, Charlottetown, in her 87th year. Wife of the late Basil Molyneaux and beloved mother of Dianne Peters (Greg) Charlottetown; Frank (Sheila), Calgary, Alberta, and Marlene MacLean (Donald) of St. Lambert, Quebec. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Maureen and Stephanie Peters, Cheryl Molyneaux, Derek and Andy MacLean, Lindsey and Stefanie Jenkins, and sisters-in-law Irene Villard, Marion Molyneaux and Mary Agnes Molyneaux. She was predeceased by her brother, Reginald, and sisters Matilda, Etta, Mary and Lena. Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home, 33-35 Longworth Ave., for visiting hours on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Tuesday with funeral mass at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer at 10 a.m. If so desired, memorial contributions can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
