OGDEN, John Charles “Dickie” – age 82, Villa St-Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, formerly of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in the Villa. Born March 14, 1935 in South Brookfield, he was a son of the late James and Marion (Berryman) Ogden. Dickie was a retired truck driver. He is survived by a son, Donald (Kathy) Ogden, Raynardton; a grandson, Alex; brothers, Stanley Ogden and Gordon “Gordie” (Carol) Ogden, both of Yarmouth; his former wife, Erna (Murphy) Ogden. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Walter Berryman, Thomas Sisco, George Ogden, Donald “Barney” Ogden, Clifford Ogden and a sister, Pauline Ogden. Visitation took place from 7-9 p.m. Friday at H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth, where the funeral was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 17, Rev. James Ogden officiated. Interment took place in the Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
