Margaret Jean Taylor of Moose Jaw passed away on April 6, 2011 at the age of 84, after a lengthy illness. Margaret married Bruce Taylor June 19, 1948 in Ontario. They had two children, Sherry and Daniel. She worked as a clerk and an X-Ray technician for the York County Health Region for over 20 years. In 1978 they moved to Moose Jaw to be closer to family. Margaret and Bruce both worked for Century 21 Real Estate. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, involved with Boy Scouts, and square danced with Buttons and Bows and the Minto Group. She is predeceased by her parents, husband Bruce, nephew Jack, and other family members. She will be sadly missed by her son Daniel (Katherine) Taylor; daughter Sherry (Dale) Bush; grandchildren Jay (Jessica), Rhonda, Lucas (Michele), Curtis (Courtney), Aaron, Jeremy, Danielle, and Kevin; great-grandchildren Madison, Brodie, and Declan; sister Donnie Slater; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Reverend John Carley will officiate. Memorialization will take place at Prairie Memorial Columbarium. For those so wishing, memorial donations can be made to Minto United Church, the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, or the Trans Canada Trail.
