Clarence Barry MacKay

MacKay, Clarence Barry - Passed away suddenly on June 13, 2017. A renowned photographer officially covering the Queen's visit to Nova Scotia. He was a well-known wedding photographer covering two generations. Barry also had a passion for flying his own aircraft.
Born to Mabel MacQuarrie and Albert MacKay (both deceased) on January 17, 1949 in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.
He leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend, Lynne, of 14 wonderful years. Survived by two loving sons, Travas (Tania) and Devon (Carly) and his adored daughter, Tracy (Brent). Also survived by his grandchildren Kaitlyn, Brooke, Jacob, Blake, Gannon and Rourke. Survived by one brother, Lawrence and nephew, Jonathan (Jennifer) and grand-nephew Ewen.
He was a well-liked citizen of our community and anyone who met Barry for the first time was instantly drawn to him. Anyone who knew him remembers him for his generosity and infectious laugh.
Many others will mourn his loss.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation in Barrie, Ontario.
Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 12 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 o’clock.
