Passed peacefully away on June 24th, 2017 at the Lakeside Homes, in Gander, NL, with her beloved son Douglas by her side Evelyn Rose Ellsworth, at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Mary, Regina and Shelia, sons: Douglas, Eric (Sonya), Hughie (Marilyn), and Mark (Olivia), sister Agnes Lavers, of Kitchener, Ontario, and special lifetime friend Larry Russell, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Albert, daughter Cora, sons-in-law Gus, Bert and Jake. Flowers gracefully accepted and or donations can be made in Rose's memory to St. Matthew's Anglican Church in Rocky, NL. The family will be receiving family and friends at on Monday June 26th, 2017, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Tuesday, June 27th, 2017, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Kay Short officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Rocky Hr., NL.
