Chesley Parsons passed peacefully on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the age of 87 years, surrounded by his loving family at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 sixty years, Vera Parsons. He was further predeceased by his parents Mark and Margaret Parsons, his brothers Edward Parsons, Clarence Parsons, Wilfred Parsons, and by his sister Zena Burden. He leaves to mourn two sons: Chesley (jr.) and Gordon; six grandchildren: Samantha LaForce, Christine Parsons, Ceilidh Parsons, Bhreagh Parsons, John Parsons, and Cassidy Penney; two great-grand children: Gunnar Parsons and Roman Parsons; his brothers Mark Parsons, Roland Parsons, and Bernard Parsons; his sisters Kathleen Parsons and Beryl Hurst. Visitation will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street Wednesday, June 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 29th at 2:00 pm from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Curling Street with Reverend David Taylor officiating, followed by the interment at Mt.
