Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Alick "Doc" (2013), parents Barton and Rachel Turnbull, sister Mildred; brothers: Wilton and John; sister-in-law Ina; brothers-in-law: Clarence Curl, Gilbert Burden and Ed Yetman. Leaving to mourn with heartfelt sorrow and many cherished memories daughter Vivian; cherished sons: Terry (Marg), Gary (Bonnie), Barry (Lynn) and Boyd; grandchildren: Shawn (Julie), Kenny (Faren), Terry-Lynn (Adam) and Christopher (Elaine); great-grandchildren: Logan and Alexandra; brothers: Henry (Fanny), Alex and Ralph (Mary); sister: Shirley Burden, Betty (Hollis Yetman), Frances (Stewart Burt) and Lenora; sister-in-law Annie; long time friend Louise Morgan; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Specials thank you to the staff at Chancellor Park for the care and compassion that they showed to mom during her stay. Resting at Barrett's, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, July 1st and Sunday, July 2nd from 1pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, July 3rd at 2pm, with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Louise's memory to the Alzheimer Society of NL, Children's Lunch Program, or Beagle Paws.
