It is with great sadness that the family of the late Foster Woodrow Pennell announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the age of 71 years. He leaves to mourn the love of his life, his wife of 41 years, Barbara (Park); his baby girl, daughter Amanda (Michael); his grandchildren Pop's pride and joys, Nicholas and Nicole; brothers Ralph (Dossie) and Freeman (Beatrice); sisters-in-law Marie Park, Maxine Park, Geraldine Sheppard (Ronnie); brothers-in-law Gerald Park (Edna) and Scott Park (Rose); special caregivers Edna Park, Wanda Sheppard; special friend (brother) Elias Park. Foster was predeceased by his parents George and Annie Pennell; parents-in-law Ronald and Jessie Park; brothers Wilfred (Olive), Roland (Rebecca), Jack (Ruby); sisters - special sister Dorothy Sheppard (Reginald), Hazel Pennell; brother-in-law Melvin Park and a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends. At Foster's request, a visitation will be held at 1 pm where also a service of remembrance will be held at 2 pm from St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Friday, July 7, 2017, with interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. The family guest book may be signed by visiting country-haven.ca.
