The death occurred peacefully at Whisperwood Villa, surrounded by her family on Monday, July 3, 2017 of Geraldine Imelda Callaghan of Charlottetown and formerly of Emyvale in her 83rd year. Loving mother to Helen (John) Burke, and Debbie (Scott) Drake. Grandmother to Courtney, Bobby, Jennifer, Ryan, Matthias and Kelly. Great grandmother to Cameron, Elias and Reagan. She is also survived by sister Blanche McKenna (Glen) and sister-in-law Bernice Callaghan. She was predeceased by her parents Matthias and Agnes (MacKinnon) Callaghan, brother Desmond and infant sister Edna. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Friday with funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the PEI Humane Society.
