STEER, John Clifford - July 12, 1940 - July 2, 2017 Determined to "not go gently into the night, strive strive against the dying of the light", Cliff passed away at home with his wife [Ann] at his side. He is survived by sons Andrew Steer of Toronto and Matthew Steer of Calgary, and sister Janet Steer Ogden of Hilton Head, NC. He was much loved and respected by those whose lives he touched. Active in dog obedience events, swimming, cycling, hiking and above all computers he was extremely passionate and competitive in all his endeavours. Deeply loved by his wife Ann, the couple shared a lifetime of memories spanning 44 years and many adventures.
