WHITEHEAD, Gladys Mary (née Wheeler) - August 24, 1922 - June 13, 2017 Gladys was born in Brentford just outside London, England. She met her husband Reg just prior to WWII, married after the war, started a family and moved to Canada with her husband and 2 small children in the spring of 1953. The family lived just north of Montreal until Reg retired when they summered in Ingleside and wintered in Florida. Gladys was predeceased by Reg in the fall of 1996. She is survived by her two sons Trevor & Geoff and their respective families. Gladys' passed peacefully on the morning of Tuesday June 13, 2017. Her family thanks the staff and ownership of Delta View Life Enrichment Centre for making the last years of her life safe, comfortable & dignified. A memorial service where Gladys will finally join her husband Reg will be held at the St. Lawrence Valley Union Cemetery in Ingleside on Saturday July 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM.
