Sylvia passed away peacefully in the presence of her daughter Tammy, son-in-law Jorge and precious cat Missy-Moo on Tuesday, July 4th. Predeceased by her parents Victor and Florence and best friends Eileen. Although family was small in numbers Sylvia was surrounded by the love of her many friends. Special thanks to Barbara, Marilyn and Meagan her home care workers and Dr. Joy McCarthy. In addition a special thank you to the Palliative Care team for the support they extended to Sylvia and Tammy. Visitations will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, July 8th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place at 2 pm on Sunday, July 9th at Barrett's Funeral Chapel. Private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations can be made to the SPCA.
