November 13, 1925 - April 12, 2011. Leaving this life on earth, Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at his home in Hopeall surrounded by his loving family, Garland Blundon, age 85. Predeceased by his parents Noah and Leah, brothers: Jack, Fred (Ruby), Noah and sisters: Betty, Evelyn, Emma May and special nephew Gary Greeley. Leaving to celebrate his life, his wife of 47 years Helen (Cumby); son Paul (Sheila); daughters: Pamela (Rodney), Leah (Ernie), Kandi (Dave) and Doralee (Kevin); grandchildren: David and Jonathan, Krista (Brant), Michael, Stephanie and Heavenlee, Amanda, Megan and Benjamin; and two great-grandchildren: Jacob and James. Also lovingly remembered by cousin Rae Doucette; sisters-in-law: Marie (Alec deceased), Marilyn (Jerry deceased), Joy (Jeff), Sylvia Blundon; brothers-in-law: Bill Collins (Pat), Ted (Iona), Ron (Anne), Ed (Sarah); nephews and nieces: Wallace (Karley), Diane (Dave), Marilyn (Gary) and many more nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Cremation has already taken place. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo on Thursday, April 14, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. A service of celebration will be held at First United Church, Hopeall on Friday, April 15 at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Garland’s memory may be made to First United Church, Hopeall or a charity of one’s choice.
