Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday, July 8, 2017, surrounded by his loving family of Wilbur Henry Cameron of Kinkora, aged 84 years. Survived by his wife of 60 years Bernice (Connick) and their children Brian (Lisa); David (Kelly); Michael (Rachel); Richard (Karen); Lorna (Bertram) Webster; and Charlie (Lisa). Also survived by 16 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and his sisters Jean MacDonald and Shirley (Don) Thompson. Predeceased by his parents Lorne and Lucy (Dawson) Cameron and a brother, Winston. Visitation at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora, on Monday, July 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora on Tuesday, July 11 at 10 a.m. There will be no visiting hours on Tuesday morning prior to the funeral mass. Interment will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Wilbur’s memory may be made to St. Malachy’s Church Restoration Fund or the Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
