It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Vivian M. Grasse, formerly of Burton, NB, at Orchard View Nursing Home on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Born in Geary, NB she was the daughter of the late Fred and Eva (Wood) Carr and wife of Joe Wells. Besides her husband, Joe, Vivian is survived by her daughters, Marlene Bennett (Malcolm) of Geary, NB and Jackie Murray (Lane) of Oromocto, NB; her grandchildren, Cyndi Hardy, Deanna Burton, Tasha Murray, Jason Murray, Jennifer Bennett and Jamie Bennett; great-grandchildren, Alan, Aaron, Chace, Justin, Cory, Morgan, Syndey, Whitney, Mitchell and Madison; brother, Medley Carr (Pauline); sisters, Stella Carr (Oswald) and Teresa Carr (Irvine) as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jack Grasse; her parents; her son, Charles Grasse; infant son, Frederick Grasse; brother, Vincent Carr as well as her sister, Clara Carr.
There will be no visitation by request. A private family service will be held. Interment will take place at a later date in the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.
