David Allen Chambers, 56, of Poodiac, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Born in Saint John, he was a son of Emerson Fanjoy of Urney and Marjorie Braman (nee Chambers) of Norton. David is survived by his wife, Anne (nee Sommers); his children: Ryan (Sally Mercer) of Norton; Connie (Lucas Koltusky) of Alberta; Grant of Poodiac; Amanda and Joshua, both at home; his siblings: Henry (Susan) Braman of Norton; Oscar (Sheila) Fanjoy of Urney; Gladys (Reid) Long of Bellisle Creek; Peter (Susan) Fanjoy of Urney; George (Sharon) Braman of Midland; Roger (Lorraine) Fanjoy of Urney; Marshall (Barb) Fanjoy of Urney; Karen (Joe) Warman of Mt. Hebron; sister-in-law Shirley Braman of Norton; grandson Ashton; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by: stepfather Henry Braman; brother, Bruce Braman; sisters Mabel Braman and Leona Fanjoy.
The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Friday from 5 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 10 am with Rev. Gene Fisher presiding at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home.
