Mrs. Lorraine Gloria MacKillop

Lorraine Gloria MacKillop, 81, of Grand River Richmond County, passed away July 9, 2017 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Effie (Trousdale) Bradley. Lorraine was a member of the Grand River Seniors and in her earlier years was employed with Maritime Tel and Tel and later an employee of the Government of Canada as an employee the Employment Insurance division. She enjoyed tole painting and gardening and was always available to volunteer.
Lorraine is survived by husband, George and children, Karen (Maurice) Coulstring, Nine Mile River, Sandra (Rodney) Conrad, Lake Charlotte and Kevin (Mary) MacKillop, Burnaby, BC; grandchildren, Kristopher, Adam, Spencer-Marie, Hannah, William and Gregory; great grandchildren, Ryder, Kashlyn, and Jackson; sisters Phyllis Wright, Sherbrooke, Quebec, Pearl Reynolds, Truro; brothers, Aubrey, Big Pond and Wendell, Sydney River, along with many nieces and nephews.
Resting in the Grand River Presbyterian Church, with visitation on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. from where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Corrie Stewart presiding, burial to follow in Ferguson’s Lake Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Strait Richmond Palliative Care.
