Passed peacefully away, Elizabeth Theresa Fitzgerald at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Monday, July 10, 2017, in her 99th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sisters: Jean (Bill) Murphy and Patricia (Bryan) Green; bother Michael Fitzgerald; sisters-in-law: Augusta Fitzgerald and Patricia Fitzgerald; and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Bridget Fitzgerald; siblings Mary Buckle, Roy, Joe, Kevin, Sheila Sova and Frank. Elizabeth was a member of the Legion, involved with the Echo Club, and she loved to socialize with friends. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home on Thursday, July 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 14 at 10:30 am from Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer with father Andrew white officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
