Cheryll (Cheri) Arnita Shulman (nee Johnston), 65 of Dartmouth, NS passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2011 at home.
Cheri was born on March 3, 1946 in Toronto and is predeceased by her brother Gary Johnston and her parents Walter (Duke) and June Johnston. She is survived by her daughter Wendy Shulman (Scott Newcombe) of Enfield, NS and many extended family members in Ontario.
Cheri was recently retired from TD Meloche Monnex where she worked as an Analyst for many years. During her time there she received the Ovation Award for her dedication and hard work. Earlier in her career, Cheri worked at a variety of sales roles and entrepreneurial ventures. In her spare time, she loved to sew and took great pride in consulting with her sewing clients and making beautiful creations for people and their homes. She was also a very talented cake decorator, floral arranger, and painter.
Cheri enjoyed summer vacations with her best friend in Ontario, spending time with friends and family and cuddling up with her grand dog.
A celebration of Cheri's life will be held at Banook Canoe Club on Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 2-5 pm. For more information please email shulmanservice@bellaliant.net. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society – Nova Scotia Division.
